Australia & Iveco Daily Immobiliser problems

Vantuner see’s a fair few Iveco Daily van ecu’s that need the immobiliser switching from the UK & of late , from Australia also.

Intermittent starting problems or a flashing key code light on the dash is a tell tale sign of a failed or failing immobiliser, cranking but not starting.  Its easily remedied but involves sending the engine ecu to me in the UK.

The job itself isn’t expensive as the are not expensive van’s  & a return fast courier takes about 3 days & costs £33 for 2003 to 2011 models  & £51 for the earlier,  heavier ecu ,  up to 2003 model. That’s an uninsured price, which isn’t a big problem on these as the ecu’s are cheap used fairly easily programmed to suit your vehicle just from info gained from your VIN.

More general info can be found on the main Iveco Daily Starting problems  / immo page , here.

  1. Hi Martyn
    I have a 2006 iveco 50 C 17 with intermittent immobiliser/ starting issues.
How much would it cost to have it deleted out of the ecu?

      • Thanks for that.
Would you happen to have a ecu for this model that I could buy off you with the immobiliser deleted ?
        And how much $ ?

        • Yes Glen, I can supply one – contact me directly for a quote etc. My number is 07956555666 or use the contact page for other ways
